Mental Health Professional / Therapist / Salisbury Behavioral Health

The Mental Health Professional is a member of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for assessment, treatment plan development and service delivery. The Mental Health Professional provides individual and group delivered therapy to children and their families as clinically indicated. Therapists work with the child and family to improve overall mental health.
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Bonus: SBH Employee sign on- $1000.00 to be paid in 3 increments
- Bonus is for full time employees and paid out according to training schedule.
- a. $250.00- After competing 90-day probation
- b. $250.00- After competing 6 months of employment
- c. $500.00- After 12 months of employment
- Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy within outpatient program service, primarily located within school district setting
- Must be experienced working with children's behavioral health issues in an outpatient or similar level of care
- Maintain compliance with CASSP principles & principles of cultural competence
- Maintain compliance with the Medical Assistance and Managed Care regulations in accordance with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's outpatient program regulations
- Communication with families, schools, school districts, managed care organizations, referral sources and other providers as necessary to ensure satisfaction with services received, continuity of care and promote quality client care Promote program growth, quality of services
- Maintain productivity and complete documentation within established guidelines
- Complete initial assessments and treatment plans, and updates within established program timelines
- Attend staff training and supervisions as assigned
Position Requirements:
Education: Master's Level Therapist (Mental Health Professional) Qualifications
- Graduate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Education, Rehabilitation or any Human Services related field
- Additional requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass required background clearances and screenings (FBI, Childline, Criminal, driving record)
Work Experience:
- Previous experience working with children and families in any form of setting.
- At least 2 years working with children and adolescence (CASSP System)

- Opportunities for on-the-job paid training! Each therapist attends clinical training through the Philadelphia Child and Family Training Center in the ESFT model. At completion, therapist is able to take a state certification test and become certified in ESFT family therapy model.
