Job Warehouse Associate III

Annual Compensation Range: $60,000-$70,000

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate III to be part of a team-oriented environment. To be successful the associate will have a positive attitude, like to interact with a variety of departments, be willing to learn, and enjoy the tasks at hand.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee daily shipping schedule and provide updates or changes with team members.
• Assign picking and packing sales orders to team members.
• Process shipments in accordance with Biocoat Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) using shipping software.
• Prepare packages and complete proper documentation required to process all shipments.
• Process shipments in accordance with IATA and DOT requirements as needed.
• Communicate with various shipping vendors and updates to customers.
• Train associates the pick, pack, and ship process.
• Manage cross training within department.

Skills & Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Current valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 5 years of warehouse, shipping & receiving experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with hazardous materials
• Familiar with all shipping processes
• IATA and DOT certification
• Outstanding documentation skills and attention to detail required
• Excellent communication and problem solving
• Capable of managing issues that arise within the scope of position with limited supervision
• Comfortable being an independent worker and self-starter
• Flexible team player with a wonderful customer service attitude
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Work Environment:
Office environment with occasional manufacturing and warehouse area exposure. Physical requirements are those that could be reasonably anticipated given the job duties and work environment. Exposure to hazardous chemicals in certain areas of the office. Must wear required personal protective equipment while demonstrating safe working practices.

Physical Requirements
Physical Demands-Stooping, turning, bending, squatting, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; constant/repetitive standing; requires normal, correctable vision and hearing, and the ability to accurately discern color as necessary to perform job functions.
