Communities In Schools of Southwest Pennsylvania, also known as CIS, is a nonprofit, community-based organization that offers a range of academic and behavioral assistance services for children and youths. Founded in 1977, it provides various mentoring, tutoring, homework assistance, career counseling, behavioral modification, after-school and alternative education services.
