Southmoreland School Dist Supt

Southmoreland School District offers educational and cocurricular programs for children in grades kindergarten through 12. Located in Scottsdale, Pa, the school district has been operational for more than 45 years. The district offers a wide variety of student support services, such as mediation solutions, personal safety, counseling groups, character education, guidance counseling, math and reading summer sessions, speech, language, occupational and physical therapies, school psychology services, special education, and academic intervention services. Its annual events include spring musical, science symposium, art show, elementary writing Olympics, winter and spring music concerts and parent open houses. The school district employs more than 100 support staff, including counselors, diagnosticians, speech, physical and occupational therapists, special education personnel, reading teachers, custodial staffs, community volunteers, nurses, and office personnel.
