Crescent Hose is a 100% volunteer fire, rescue and emergency medical services agency serving North East, PA and the surrounding area. Located in the heart of Pennsylvania grape country, North East is a small community comprised of five schools, one college, a robust business district, multiple places of worship, and roughly 11, 000 residents.
The Crescent Hose Company is staffed by a 40 member, 100% volunteer staff that handles approximately 1, 400 calls for assistance a year. To perform this task, the Hose Company is equipped with 2 BLS ambulances, 1 Ladder Truck, 1 Engine and 1 Heavy Rescue. Additionally, the Hose Company maintains a trailer for rehab and wilderness rescue, and a 6 wheeled UTV for wilderness search and rescue.
Without the human element, the Crescent Hose Company would fail to meet it's mission of providing top-notch fire, rescue and EMS to the community.
