Maplewood is located in NW Pennsylvania ( Meadville, PA ) 90 miles north of Pittsburgh and 40 miles South of Erie in a straight line just off I-79. We specialize in well bred Nigerian and Alpine goats. And occasionally a Mini-Alpine. Around the mini-farm you will also find several rescued pot bellied pig, cats, and dogs. A former humane agent for our county, I have always had a soft spot for the unwanted and disposed of animals. Their care and retirement to a life of love/freedom is my goal. My property is also the site of Maplewood Dog Boarding kennels, established in 1985, and formerly an obedience training school for puppies/ adult dogs. We also do foster work for Glenn Highland Farms, a Border Collie rescue farm in NY State.
