SIC (US 1987) : Laurel Aggregates was established in 1996 by the Laurita family of Morgantown, WV. In 2001, Laurel opened the Lake Lynn Quarry located in southern Fayette County, PA. The Lake Lynn Quarry enabled Laurel Aggregates to supply DOT approved aggregates to both West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Laurel Aggregates was acquired by in 2012.
For the first 10 years of mining, the Lake Lynn Quarry was a surface-mining only facility.
