The metal powder produced by the company is used in welding, brazing, thermal coating, soft magnetic composites, electrophotographic and numerous chemical applications. The company offers more than 30 types of iron-based powders for component manufacturing under the brand name Distaloy and Starmix. H gan s AB s another subsidiary, North American H gan s High Alloys, produces a variety of powdered metal products. These products include stainless chips, manganese and steel, iron alloy, nickel alloy, silicon and electrolytic iron powders.
